Al-Hajj Usama has made several T.V. appearances and newspaper interviews.
On July 17th, 2005, Al-Hajj Usama was interviewed by The Vancouver Sun, a daily news paper published in B.C., Canada. He was shown teaching Muslim Youths and non-Muslims about the true message of Islam which talks about peace, love, harmony, education, tolerance, respect, justice and kindness.
On June 2006 Al-Hajj Usama was quoted by The Vancouver Sun saying, “We are trying to build bridges of peace; not destroy them,” demonstrating his peaceful approach towards interfaith dialogue and his involvement in such activities.
Al-Hajj Usama has made, and is making, several appearances on numerous Satellite Channels such as Al-Anwar Sattellite T.V., Salam T.V. and Al-Bashir T.V.
In addition, Al-Hajj Usama has appeared several times on OMNi T.V., a cable station that is broadcasting in Vancouver, Winnipeg and Toronto, Canada. He is the most appeared guest on the daily show The Standard, which airs on OMNi T.V. He is regularly invited to speak on various Islamic issues.
Al-Hajj Usama Al-Atar is proud to be an Ambassador of Islam. It is for all his dedicated efforts that he was awarded the Ambassador of Peace Award in June 2006 by the United Peace Federation.

Radio Fatima
Al-Hajj Usama has launched a new show on Radio Fatima, a radio show based in London, UK. The name of the show is Islamic Visions & Perspectives. It is a half an hour show that airs once a week.
